Information : What is the difference between free play and play based learning.

At Bombay School we believe that there is vital place for play. However, play needs to be structured, which is why we support play based learning initiatives as set out below, as long as it is part of a balanced, structured, purposeful and professionally justifiable teaching practice.

A big thank you to the many parents who helped out behind the scenes during our recent production of Lights, Camera, Action. We appreciated the help with costumes, props and makeup. It was a very successful show and was enjoyed by all.

Year 4 Camp

Year 4 Camp:
Notices have been sent home for the Year 4 camp to Hunua Falls on Wednesday 29 November to Friday 1 December. Please return to the school office as soon as possible with payment.

Helmets for Unicycles and Trolleys

Does anyone have any spare bike helmets that they would be happy to donate to the school? We only have 7 helmets which means only 7 children at a time can enjoy the Unicycles and Trolleys. If you can help, please drop off to the office. Thank you.

Is your Year 6 child leaving at the end of this year?

If you are contemplating enrolling your Year 6 child at another school for Year 7 in 2018, could you please complete this form? Although we would be sad to see your child leave the school, we understand that parents will make this decision for a host of reasons and we are keen to understand them.
