Congratulations to Rose who won Kotuitui's calf club competition with her gumboot (pictured below) and will be now competing at Yardart in Paerata.  The competition is open for the public to go and vote for Rose's gumboot, as it is the public vote that chooses the winner. Let's get behind Rose and vote! Visit Yardart, Crown Rd, Paerata to make your vote count. Voting starts Wed 1 November and ends on 30 November. Good luck Rose.

These nasty critters are back again. Please check your child's hair regularly and if headlice are found,  let your child's teacher know.

On the last day of school Kieran's rugby ball went missing, it is signed by all the counties players and we would really like it back. Parents please check this has not come home. If found please return to the office.

Sunsmart
As we gear up for spring ( when it does decide to show itself) we need to pull out our bucket hats and we need to begin wearing them.  To help us raise awareness of the harmful exposure times, we have added a new SUNSMART widget to the home page on our website.
Spare Uniform
Does anyone have any old uniform shorts size 4-6 that they would be happy to donate to Room 14 for spare clothing. If you can help, please send to Mrs Whitmore or drop off at the office. Thank you.
Akoranga Review
We are asking year 4-8 parents for their input into the Akoranga Programme.   Do you have ideas to share with us about the programme?  Please follow this link and share your ideas with us.

KOTUITUI LAKEWOOD LODGE CAMP : Details here
Is your Year 6 child leaving at the end of this year?
If you are contemplating enrolling your Year 6 child at another school for Year 7 in 2018, could you please complete this form?  Although we would be sad to see your child leave the school, we understand that parents will make this decision for a host of reasons and we are keen to understand them.  We would also like to get an accurate picture, as early as possible, of our student levels for 2018.  This will allow us to advertise free spaces and to staff the school correctly for the next year.  Please complete our survey by clicking on the following link :
