Auckland Orienteering
On the 16th of May, 30 children from Bombay went to the Auckland Orienteering at Cornwall Park. We left school at 9:00am, but the traffic on the motorway was really good so we arrived there around an hour early. So we played around in one of the paddocks at Cornwall Park. The course was 25 controls long and spread over around 4km. It was a really nice course to run, because of all the trees and open paddocks.

All of the students who ran did really well, and we would like to mention the year seven girls team, who placed third overall. Also the year seven boys did really well just missing out on a place, in fourth. The year eight boys came in sixth, while the year eight girls came seventh overall. In the individuals Samantha placed third on her course with a time of 27.21 minutes. Connor and William also placed third on their courses with times of 26.47 and 26.37. Caitlin  placed third on her course with an awesome time of 24.45 minutes. So overall it was a great day and everyone ran their hardest and tried their best!
