Reading Challenge
Calf Club 2017
Calf Club 2017 will be held on Saturday 30 September.  This is the day after Term 3 ends.  It is a compulsory school day for all students.  Unfortunately, we cannot have Calf Club on our traditional Term 4 date, as that would be the same weekend as Labour Weekend.
Therefore, our organisation needs to start earlier than usual.  Below is a list of the stalls we are planning on having, and a note whether each stall has a Coordinator lined up.

Calf Club Coordinator - Dianna Naylor - final year
Raffles Coordinator - Nicki Dickey - final year
Entertainment Coordinator - vacant position
Cafe Coordinator - Deb Somervell
Coffee Coordinator - Lynley Wood - second-to-last year
Produce Coordinator - Kylie Faulkner
Plants Coordinator - Shelley Small - final year
Books Coordinator - Kelly Hughes
Major Raffle Coordinator - Vita Mitchell
Cold Drinks Coordinator - Steph Belz
Cakes Coordinator - Jo Tilyard - final year
Sweets Coordinator - Lisa Walden
Fairground Activities Coordinator - Andrea Corkill
Animals Coordinator - Dianna Naylor - final year

Several coordinators are helping for the final time this year. WE NEED YOUR HELP!!  Please give some thought as to whether you'd be able to "watch and learn" this year, with a view to helping co-ordinate next year.  It would be preferable to learn the ropes this year, rather than being thrown in the deep end next year....!!

Of course, if you have any ideas for different stall/entertainment ideas, please get in touch.

If you'd like some more information about any of the roles, or are able to help in any way, please send me an email: dianna@coppertop.co.nz  Thanks very much for your support : )

Poppies
Thank you very much to everyone who have sent their poppies to school.
With these and the Bombay Lions contributions I should be able to festoon many walls at Tyne Cot. I really appreciate your generosity.
Regards Di Rolfe.
