If your child is a keen sports minded person, why not consider enrolling in the Kelly Sports Morning Programme which starts in term 4.  Have a look at their advert which is at the end of this newsletter.  They will operate on the school grounds and in the War Memorial Hall (on wet days). Well worth considering!

Changes to Year 8 School Based Immunisation Programme for 2017
Due to recent changes to the National Immunisation Schedule, the School Based Immunisation Programme Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine will now be offered to boys as well girls in Year 8.
There will be two vaccinations given with a 6 month gap between the doses.
Information on the vaccine and a consent form will be given to your child early in 2017 for you to fill out and return to the school.
No child will be vaccinated without written consent. Additionally, if you require more information on this important immunisation programme;

Calendar orders are available to order from the above Junior classes. These are a great idea for Christmas presents. Families can get an order form from their child's classroom teacher.  Calendar art will be on display in classrooms.
Cost is $12 each.  Completed orders with payment can be brought to the office. Orders close Friday 18 November.  

If anyone shops at New World and does not want the mini pot plants they are currently promoting, the Junior school would very much appreciate them. They will be doing a unit on plants next term.
We are also getting very low on craft supplies.  If you have any items at home that you are happy to donate we would love to have them. Thank you for your support :)

We need tights/stockings and clean yoghurt pots please. If you able to help us out, please bring to the office or take to Room 8. Thank you.

Banking day is Wednesday. Bring your banking into the office. We had a great start to the term with 34 bankers.The winner of the banking trophy this week is: Catherine.
If you would like to open a bank account please collect forms from the school office.

This is scheduled for Wednesday 19 October. All children with Calves, Goats and Lambs who have entered our Calf Club are eligible. It is held at the A & P Show Grounds in Pukekohe. Entry fee is $5.00. Your child does not have to have earned any ribbons for them to come to this wonderful day. Entry forms are available from the office and must be returned by Monday 17 October.
