Bravo! Bravo! Bravo!
The Wizard of OZ - a stunning success!
Well done to our Kotuitui Team for delivering a superb season of the Wizard of OZ. Five extravaganza performances that left the audience in awe of the talent we have at school.  As we congratulated the students on their triumph, we also paid tribute to their teachers and the team that supported them.  When we reach the heights of success, we always do so by standing on the shoulders of those who support us.  Our heartfelt thanks goes to all the teachers, support staff and parents who worked tirelessly to stage a stunning show.

The video of the show will be made available next week.  Please check next week's newsletter for details of how you can access the video.

Online safety awareness
Keeping our children safe online is a team effort.  We need to encourage children to experience the wealth of opportunity that the internet offers and we also need to constantly educate them about being safe online.  This is a task that teachers and parents need to be on the same song sheet about.  Over the course of the next few newsletters we will run a series of helpful video messages & handy tips, just to keep the issue at the forefront of our minds.

Safety Tips :

No unsupervised access to the internet at home unless you are running top-class filtering on your home connection.
No devices in bedrooms.  The living room is the safest place.
A deleted browsing history means someone is hiding something.  It should signal a loss of trust.
Unsupervised access to social media - is inviting trouble for primary school aged children.

This link will take you to a PDF about staying safe online :
