Kotuitui Production - Wizard of Oz
The Kotuitui Team (Middle School) have been working hard preparing for their production.
Tickets are now available from the office. Don't miss this great show!
Confident Writers receive a gold sticker award
Ava, Hannah, Harlan and Isla were awarded a Principal's Gold Sticker for their superb writing.  They compared the Olympic motto to our school motto.  Well done team.
Stage 4 Writers
Poppy and Danica share their writing with you too.  These stage 4 writers are honing their writing craft by skilfully using imagery.  Enjoy !

Calf Club 2016 News Week 5 Term 3 - 7 weeks  to go
Franklin Group Day
This is scheduled for Wednesday 19 October. All children with Calves, Goats and Lambs who have entered our Calf Club are eligible. It is held at the A & P Show Grounds in Pukekohe. Entry fee is $5.00. Your child does not have to have earned any ribbons for them to come to this wonderful day. Entry forms will be available from the office from next week and must be returned by Monday 17 October.

Lambs - Free 5 in 1 Vaccination and Tail docking
Local man, Mr David Williamson has kindly offered his services for free. Please contact him on 027 295 5126
Calf Club Cups and Shields
If you were lucky enough to receive a cup or shield at last year's Calf Club, we would like these returned now. It would be much appreciated if these could be polished before you return them. Thank you.

We had a fabulous day yesterday. Well done to all the competitors. 5 of our teams placed 1st, a great team effort!

Entries are now open for the third year of the “Pukekohe Raceway Kids Obstacle Duathlon” coming up on Tuesday 20th September.  
Community Notices
Paid Union Meeting : 14 September
Dear Parents/ Guardians,

The Board was informed by the NZEI ( Primary Teachers Union) that it has jointly called a paid union meeting (PUM) with the PPTA ( Secondary ) teachers union, on 14 September 2016.

All staff (teaching and support) who are members of​ ​the teachers' union NZEI will attend this meeting. That leaves 1 teacher, 2 teacher aides and myself left to supervise 384 children until 2.50pm.

​We are asking any​ ​families who are able to, to take their children home​ ​at ​12.50 ​pm that day. Those who remain will be asked to play outside until 1.50pm (End of Lunch Break ) and then they will be in the hall until 2.50pm.  We expect that all buses will leave on schedule.

If you are unable to pick your child up at 12.50pm, can you please let us know using the form below or by emailing admin@bombay.school.nz

Kids After School Care will operate in the hall from 2.50pm onward as usual.
