For parents who were unable to make it, here are video highlights :-

On Wednesday 17 August, four teams represented Bombay School at the ASB Franklin Mathex Competition. First up were two year six teams, they competed against 38 other teams. Bombay B scored 60 points and came middle of the pack. Bombay A scored 95 points and ended up 3rd equal. This meant they had to complete a tie breaker question. Unfortunately they narrowly lost to the other team.

Next up were the Year 7s, after a slow start - spending 10 minutes on one question (giving their supporters heart attacks), they persevered and were able to take out 3rd place. Scoring 90 points.

Last up, were the Year 8s. This was obviously a very difficult test as all schools were slow to progress through the 20 questions. The highest score at the end of 30 minutes was only 70. Our team’s final score was 55.
