Bombay School - Our Best Always - Ake Runga - Years 0 to 8
Dear parents, caregivers, students and friends of the school. Tena koutou katoa. Nga mihi nui ki a koutou katoa,
We are at the end of Term 4 2018 and it seems as though the year has flown by at breakneck speed. At our prize giving yesterday, we celebrated the achievements of all our children.
I encourage you to watch the video of our Board Chair, Matthew Bagley's address at the Senior Prize giving yesterday. The video quality is a bit grainy but the content is well worth watching.
It's very rewarding to see children receiving awards for their wide range of accomplishments. It was also heartening to reflect on the depth and range of experiences that this school offers children.
When one reflects on the awards assemblies and on the year 8 graduation, then we can be rightly proud of our school. Furthermore, our school cleaned up at the year 9 awards assembly at Pukekohe High yesterday.
This has been the case for several years in a row. I think, that we, the Bombay school community, can take a bow. Our output and our work, speaks for itself. All that remains is to wish everyone a wonderful festive season and our best wishes accompany those who are moving on to the next phase of their education.
